D-I-Y Car Garage

My daughters love cars and they are all over the floor. So we decided to have a fun time and make a car garage out of a shoebox!

🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗

Materials needed:

Toilet Rolls

Shoebox (large size)

Glue Gun

Paper

Decorative Materials

🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗

Collect Toilet Paper Empty Rolls

Cover Shoebox with plain paper or some decorative paper. Gift wrapper will also do.

These are the cars before the garage!

Just glue the rolls according to size. Stick them one by one on a side of the box. Since the kids have bigger sized cars, we didn’t fill the whole box with rolls. The space on top of the rolls will serve as their parking.

For the fun part, just shoot the small cars inside the rolls.

My little girls are proud of their DIY project!

So there! A fun project you could have the kids do with the littlest of effort. And this took time off their IPad time! 😋

GoodAh!

Nope, it’s not just lugaw, GoodAh boasts of an extensive menu, rice meals, noodles, congees and they also have desserts and drinks.

They even offer LUGAW REFILL for an affordable Php30.00 if you order any Lugaw variant.

Choose your own chair!

My hubby! 😍

I don’t even remember eating lugaw here at GoodAh at all. But it’s really Good Ah! You should try it!

Arrozcaldo at Php 84.00

Super sulit! Love the bits of chicharon on top. 1 pc of chicken leg. But even without the toppings, I love the taste of the lugaw.

Goto Classic at Php 84.00

Hubby loves it. He even said it’s better than my arrozcaldo. With bits of chicharon, assorted goto, and an egg!

It’s open 25 hours so you’ll always have time to drop by. The place is clean and cozy with its red and white interior.

The branch we visited is located at Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

La Lola evolved into a Cafe!

Anyone who has had a share of La Lola Churros would be happy to know that they now have a sit in cafe in Glorietta!

Quaint and cozy, it feels good to be hanging out here after a day of shopping, or even just meeting with friends.

Their menu consisted of the usual churros, rice meals, some pasta, sandwiches and both coffee and non-coffee drinks.

We already had a merienda / early dinner so we ordered just enough for sharing.

Starting off with the kids’ favorite, Churros with Chocolate Dip. Really best devoured when hot!

We were disappointed with how these 2 sandwiches came out.

For Php 195.00, the Ham and Cheese Croissant, smaller than we expected, doesn’t come with anything.

🔽🔽🔽

Just the same, for Php 295.00, the Lola Club wasn’t any better in size. My MIL kept on saying that it wasn’t even a whole square of a bread. 😂 Though I appreciate that it’s full of ham, cheese and veggies, not only bread! Tastes ok too!

🔽🔽🔽

The Carbonara Spaghetti, priced at Php 235.00, would have been worth it if they put a few pieces of real bacon plus the crushed bacon bits.

🔽🔽🔽

Instead of the sandwiches and the pasta, we could have ordered another Rice Meal like the Sweet Longganisa at Php 190.00. Comes with 2 yolk egg, 4 pcs of longganisa, garlic rice and a whole tomato!

✅✅✅

I wish La Lola would improve on the serving of their meals and sandwiches so that people would be able to say that it’s worth the price.

And they also not serve water. I am not sure if this is a practice. But as far as I know, cafes, especially those who serve sweet desserts and drinks, serve free water.

Too simple but so overpriced. Well, that’s just me. Go ahead and try La Lola Cafe. Located at 2nd Level Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati City.

OMG! You GOTO BELIEVE!

This place is literally a hole in the wall somewhere in Mandaluyong City.  It’s late and we came from shopping (I think!) and hubby needed a quick bite.

The photo above is so eye-catching!  I had to wait for the other customers to leave so that I could get a shot without their heads. Haha!

Their menu has quite all the things you would want to eat.  So many choices that it makes your head spin!  Check it out!

Hubby chose to have the OMG Wet Goto!  It’s a goto with 10 toppings – in alphabetical order: Adidas, Bituka ng Baboy, Chicharong Bulaklak, Chicken Liver, Crispy Wonton Wraps, Dilis,  Hard Boiled Egg, Isaw ng Manok, Tenga and Xbox!  What the heck is Xbox?  Oh, it’s pig blood which was previously called Betamax.

Oh by the way, they have an additional ingredient aside from those 10! Lots and lots of Sili!

According to hubby, it’s so filling because of all the toppings.  But it’s too spicy that you couldn’t taste the GOTO anymore!

As for me, since it’s already late and didn’t want to stuff myself anymore, I satisfied my cravings for a Lumpiang Conservative!  Yeah, funny name isn’t it?  It is Crispy Vegetable Spring Roll and I love it!  It’s really crispy and their sawsawan (sauce) is tasty too!

They also have Lumpiang Bold, literally Lumpiang Hubad which was out of stock already!

If it wasn’t too late, I would have tried their Doctor Kwek-Kwek (Quail Eggs), Pak na Pakpak (Wings), Calamares, Salted Egg Chicken Skin and their Bagnet-o!  Could have ordered a Rootbeer Float or a Coffee Float!  Or maybe a refreshing dessert drink Lecheng Avocado Shake!

Since it’s goodbye for now, time to pay and leave a tip and shoot it in their Believe ako sa’yo Tip Can!

GOTO Believe got its name from a movie with the title Got To Believe.  They serve GOTO so you get it!  It can be found in 640 San Rafael St, Brgy Plainview, Mandaluyong City.
