Afraid of traffic because of the rain, I went straight to the airport from my office. True enough, there’s traffic all over the metro! It took me an hour and a half to get here.
No reason to be stressed though, it’s still early and my hubby’s flight is delayed for an hour. There’s a lot of time to while away.
It’s been a while that I was able to roam this airport, NAIA Terminal 3. And I was surprised that a lot of new restos and shops have opened. What I am talking about is the area on the top floor, where both travellers and non travellers can enjoy.
Take a look at some of the shops:
Not in picture but definitely present in the roster of fast food restos in NAIA 3 are Jollibee, Yellow Cab, and Dimsum & Dumplings.
There are coffee shops and a convenience store!
Aside from these known brands, there were quite a few newbies in the resto biz line up.
I chose La Amoretto as they have WIFI, and I needed to be online to not go crazy. A few hours of doing nothing will kill me.
I ordered a Chicken Karaage and it’s tasty. The serving was small though. Look how all you can see in picture below was just rice and some seaweed on top? Yes, the chicken was only a few pieces.
But I think the Php 200.00 I paid was worth it. These are the inclusions of the meal: 1 chicken karaage, 1 iced tea, wifi rental and a comfy corner on the shop to lounge for 3 hours!
Oh, and to add, 2 glasses of water and friendly staff.
Worth it? Yes.
