Goto Tendon

Filipinos love to eat – it doesn’t matter what time of the day or night. So there are really restaurants that are open 24/7 or open in the wee hours to cater to these midnight snackers. 😁

Mushrooming in and out of the city, Goto Tendon will surely catch your eye with their bright red logo.

After a night of celebrating a friend’s birthday, with hard liquor taking much of the space in our tummies, our friends and I decided to go to Goto Tendon to eat some hot meal. This is the best thing to do after you get drunk! 😁

Goto Tendon

I sipped some lugaw from my husband’s big bowl of Goto Tendon, and I immediately liked the taste. I am not a fan of Goto and Pares, since I like my lugaw (congee) plain or just with chicken.

Sizzling Tendon

The Sizzling Tendon is a must try also. My friend mentioned that the resto should allow clients to order with or without rice. It’s just like a pica pica you could eat without the rice.

Tokwa’t Baboy

Crunchy lechon kawali goes well with the tofu in Goto Tendon’s version of Tokwa’t Baboy.

Ube Cheese con Niyebe

And of course, last but not the least, my order – Ube Cheese Con Niyebe. This is like a Korean bingsu / Pinoy Halo Halo altogether. Lavender colored, Ube tasting shaved ice topped with cheese and leche flan. Yummy!

One of these days, we are gonna go back and try their silogs (fried rice with egg) and a pares or 2.

Hope to see you in any of Goto Tendon’s many many branches! 😘. You may also visit their Official Facebook Page, Goto Tendon.

The branch we went to was Goto Tendon Scout Tobias.

Happy eating!
